On Friday 17th March, with Mrs Thoreaux, we celebrated a traditional Irish event, St. Patrick’s day. We served tea and British cookies in the morning and we organised then watched and listened to a traditional Irish music concert after lunch.
Before St Patrick’s day, we all prepared and posted the St Patrick’s posters. Everybody informed the classes and gave the exchange coupons.
On St Patrick’s day, Mélanie, Clarisse, Pauline and Amandine prepared the bar with the cakes to distribute and cleaned the bar in the morning.
Lucas, Léo, James, Marc and Ronan got (and returned) the hot water bottles in the school cafeteria.
Soukamba served the snack with Logan and Dylan and Maxence, Vincent, Jessica and Amandine served the tea.
Everybody prepared the hall with chairs and tidied after the concert.
Doryan, Ridgy and Chaïdat welcomed and helped the band.
Mélanie and Tiphanie took pictures and Andy and Exaucé filmed during the morning break and during the concert on Saint Patrick's day.
Extra text from Pauline and Amandine:
Mrs Thoreaux exchanged the mails with the musicians.
Mr Maillard prepared the coupons for the snack and Mrs Thoreaux verified the number of students presents that day.
She calculated the quantities of cookies and tea, the price for the project and she bought the tea and cookies. She asked the school chef (in the kitchen) for help.
